This comes as no surprise to some of you..

Hello everyone!

What a crazy week we just had! I can’t explain how I excited I am to be BSU’s first Homecoming Queen. Pretty fun stuff. A lot of people have been asking me what this means for the rest of the year, and I don’t really know what to tell them besides the fact that I get a cool crown and have a lot of people that I don’t know saying hi to me/friend requesting me! (wasn’t expecting that!) So, my homecoming buzz is almost over, but soon it will be NACA time! so exciting!!

So, my proposed event would be to bring Steve Moakler to campus. Who is Steve Moakler, you may ask? Well, he is one of the best underground musicians you will never have heard of (unless you went to NACA when he was there of course!) He is an acoustic guitarist, and he has curly hair and is quite tall and very skinny. He has an incredible voice and I think that if I had his songs on an actual cd like back in the day, I would wear out the disk just like I did to my Hanson CD.

I am attempting to insert a picture to this blog but it isn’t quite working out! I will try to figure it out later, don’t want to be late to class!

In conclusion, I think everyone needs to at least hear a song by Steve Moakler. He is quite fantastic, and when he signed a picture of himself for me, he told me I rocked his socks. πŸ™‚

That’s all for now!

  1. Congrats again Kwin! I completely agree with bringing Steve Moakler to campus! You and Kelly got me to fall in love with him when I heard you talking about him all the time. I would totally come to this event! πŸ™‚
